Finally nice weather :)
Really .. weather I like it or not is a different matter, but we tend to judge so much based on looks only, which is a pity to be honest.
Anyway, this is quite an “interesting” study.
People can and do make snap judgments about personality and abilities based on superficial physical characteristics. Some remaining key questions are: do people make these judgments consciously or subconsciously? And even more intriguing and controversial – are such judgments due only to stereotyping? Or, when it comes to specific, controllable characteristics such as accessories or the choice of environment, might it actually be possible to accurately judge a book by its cover?

Expectations are very tricky because they are almost always wrong. But our expectations drive our behavior anyway.
Our view of the future is the fundamental basis for how we act today. Since our expectations about the future are regularly based on our recent experience, we act as if the next week, month and year will be just like the last one.We are programmed that way.
In fact it is a genetic trait of humans to base our view of the future (our expectations) on the past; we have very little else to base it on. But we have very short-term memories, so our natural inclination is to define the past as the very recent past.
